Day 1 // Longview, TX
Our adventure to the Sunshine State begins today. The miles will go by quickly as we travel south.
Day 2 // Montgomery, AL
Today we will stop for a delicious lunch and then make our way to Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience that showcases Mississippi’s global legacy in every area of the arts and entertainment.
Day 3 // St Augustine, FL
Step back in time to St. Augustine, Florida; the nation’s oldest city. Founded in 1565 by Spanish Conquistadors, the city has its own flavor, 450 years in the making. After exploring the city, we’ll enjoy a dinner this evening as a group.
Day 4 // St Augustine, FL
This morning take a narrated tour of this ancient city with its colonial Spanish Quarter, breathtaking architecture, antiquated buildings, and its significance to the shaping of our nation. Climb aboard the St. Augustine Trolley for a fun and relaxing way to explore the nation’s oldest city.
Day 5 // Plantation, FL
At the Kennedy Space Center, you will get an up-close, hands-on feel for the story of humans in space, from the dawn of space exploration to current and ongoing missions. Dinner this evening will take place on board our Jungle Queen Riverboat Cruise!
Day 6 // Key West, FL
There is no better way to witness the wildlife and beauty of the Everglades than from the deck of an airboat! Today we’ll visit Everglades Holiday Park and do exactly that! See a gator show and maybe even snap a picture with one of the scaly stars!
Day 7 // Key West, FL
Cigar and sponge barons, Spanish explorers and brave “wreckers” all flocked to live in relaxing Key West. Tour the Ernest Hemingway Home, his most famous residence and the most iconic. Here, he cultivated his persona and wrote many of his most popular books. Everything from his fishing photos to the forty cats that wander the grounds exemplifies his uniqueness here. See the most famous sites today on a Key West Conch Tour train ride, where we will learn about the eclectic history of the key and its people.
Day 8 // Key West, FL
Spend the day exploring remaining places of interest on your own and discover why, when people visit, they don’t want to leave.
Day 9 // Orlando, FL
Today, we will hit the road towards Orlando for free time with lots of great food and shopping.
Day 10 // Morrow, GA
Make a visit to Showcase of Citrus for some fresh air and 100% pure florida fun. This family owned and operated 2,500 acre estate has been cultivating over 50 varieties of citrus that began in 1989. The Park Rangers will take us on a monster truck adventure where we will explore native woodlands, citrus groves, and Bigfoot territory. Be sure to keep a sharp eye out for giant Bigfoot, woodfairies, and friendly gnomes!
Day 11 // Nashville, TN
Pay tribute to the roots of country music at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville this afternoon. Featuring artifacts, videos, and state of the art exhibits. The museum tells the story of famous artists who shaped the music world. Take your seats tonight for a show at the Grand Ole Opry.
Day 12 // Little Rock, AR
Stop for a memorable lunch in Memphis before continuing to Little Rock for the night.
Day 13 // Home
Our fun in the sun is over, but the warm memories will last a lifetime. Relax as we travel home.
